The more costly T-beam replacing the 3 pillars is in my opinion double worth it because:
- you will get maximum light in your living area
- the room shape will make the house feel as double as big as keeping a narrower version
- the hidden living on the left side is cosy, makes a beautufl entrence look and perfectly hides the TV
I would rather invest money for the T-beam instead of enlarging the living room into the garden what would make the terrace and garden small and narrow and destroy the spaciousness of the outdoor area

The fusion of the entrence area is not that important. It would just look cooler and bigger, but also seperated it would keep the whole function and save a lot of money -> undone see version 2

We’re also not sure about the headroom to gain access to the toilet. This was saying the red text: "door possible? height stairway? if not change with utility" :-)
An even better alternative to prevent the toilet door to open directly into the living room and in the same wipe creating a second utility area could be to use a part of the outdoor storage for the toilet -> see version 2
I think with an intelligent interior design (cupbords in the entrance area, more cupbords in the Playroom, intelligent kitchen design (as designed this kitchen is a storage space miracle, more possible storage room in the living room around the TV and an outdoor storage room in the back of the garden...) the ground floor should offer enough storage space for the things that can't be stored in the kids' and master bedroom floor...

At the back of the garden we have a gate into a common space we would like to keep which is in the middle of the back fence. done :-)
